It's been a long while....so, I thought I would share just a few things I have been thinking about.
Downton Abbey. Wow... Classes within classes! Who knew?
Maggie hates it when mama cries.
We have some major road construction going on in Stockton on I5 (until 2015? Yuck). When you are headed North on I5, there is a point where the construction starts. The lanes go down from four lanes to three. Not a big deal....for those who READ road signs! Okay...really? I am in the fourth lane, I can read that in 2 miles my lane is going to end, so what do I do? I get over. What do they do? Stay there until the very last possible second and then shove over making people hit the brakes thus causing a little jam. I don't know why, but this just irritates me.
Another little thing on I5 before I move on. Before the above construction, again going North on I5, there is like a bridge, a pretty big one. I am really bad with measures, but I would guess the bridge is half a mile long. So, I guess there was some problem with the bridge...falling down? Perhaps. So, what do we do? We put a crappy patch over the broken part. Not a smooth patch where one could hardly notice, but a big ol' rough patch that indicates, to me anyway, that I need to hurry over it because I could fall through it.
A funny thing happened to me on the way home from Kaiser yesterday. I pull into the street from the parking lot. I make a few turns and end up at a light. I am aware of the car in front of me. We travel down the road and the driver goes at a good rate so there is no need to pass. We end up going down the road until we reach the highway. We both turn onto the highway. We both work our way over to the fast lane and travel through the construction areas. We make our way down the highway until my exit. I exit, and stop at a light and lo and behold, that same car is in front of me again. I start to panic thinking that they are thinking I am following them!! So, we turn and go through the next light, SO, at the next light, I turn my signal on too early and get over to the turning lane a bit early so they don't think I am following them and then THEY turn the same way I was! I think, and I am so not over paranoid about this, but I think they were following me from in front!!
I don't know how to dance unless it is on my daddy's feet.
Last Wednesday, I am innocently at home working *cough* watching the baseball game *cough*. I have the Giants game on in the background *cough* I am sitting in front of it *cough* and they start talking about a perfect game. I turn off my work *cough* really? I wasn't working people! *cough* and start to really watch. I get a text from my cousin trying to jinx Matt Cain, but he continues to throw strikes and he continues to get batters out and his team continues to help him on his way. It's the 5th inning...perfect. The 6th inning...perfect. The 7th inning...perfect. I start to get a little excited here. I am thinking I may be watching my very first perfect game. No runs. No hits. No errors. Perfect. It's the 8th inning...perfect. Some great catches and great throws are taking place. I am starting to think I am watching history here. The 9th inning...first batter out. Second batter out. Third batter hits it to Arias (3rd) who throws to Belt (1st) and makes the third out. Perfect game!!! I was so excited for the Giants and for Cain. I was so excited to be watching the game with the love of my life, my husband, watching history.
Let's see....is there anything else?
Oh...just a little something else and then I am done. I have this friend and she has a blog which I follow. Wellllll...she and her family share a blog -- like they can all go and post family things on the blog like a family blog. Every member of the family has the address and password and they can post anytime. So, every time they go the blog, they can read about what other members of the family are doing. I LOVE this idea! Love it! I told my kids about it...they hated it and wont do it. The NEW kids I will have will love it and do it with me! Guaranteed!
As Always....Velvet
XOXO
PS -- Blogspot took away my playlist? Totally bummed! I loved that music! Looking around to see what else I can do, if you all know, let me know!

Velvet,
I lost my playlist too -- I'm so bummed I almost cried! I've tried (with no luck) to restore it. Ugh! Enjoyed the reminder of I15 in Stockton. I miss you and am thankful that we once knew each other!
Love,
Fran
I'LL DO THE FAMILY BLOG WITH YOU! ;)
