First Blog - Ever

Okay, so, now I am cool because I have a blog. I guess. My sister-in-law and her son-in-law have a blog, so I figured I needed one too. Why? Because I am definitely one of those people who follow. I don't have an idea of my own, why would I, I just steal yours!!

Okay, so I will start with just a quick little overview of who I am. I am Velvet - daughter, sister, wife, sister-in-law, aunt, mother (in that order!). I am daughter of George and Aileen. I am a sister to Vernon. I am wife to Trent. I am a sister-in-law to Shelly, Russell/Ilene, Roger/Susan, Alicia, Shane, and Kim/Shelly. I am aunt to many!! In fact, I am a great aunt as well. I am mother to Garrick and Natalie. I am rounding the corner of middle-age-dom, I can see 40 just around the corner. I am a work-at-home mom. I am quiet. I am funny, once you get to know me. I am generally happy. I have dreams that have yet to be fulfilled, yet my life is overflowing with many blessings. I have things I would like to change, yet things I would never in a million years change.

Well, that is the end of my first blog. And actually, I kinda liked it!!
